As part of the 'Gadapagadapaku Congress' programme, the party’s leaders have been touring many districts for the last two days in Telangana. People's support is sought in this door-to-door campaign. The chief leaders of the party are requesting people to vote once for the Congress that has given Telangana in this general election. TPCC leaders are campaigning that better governance is possible with Congress. The leaders are trying to convince the public that the Congress is fulfilling the promises made in Karnataka and that the same will be repeated here.
During the campaign, the party promised to pay Rs. 5 lakh for the construction of houses as soon as it came to power. Moreover, it has now been announced that Rs. 3 lakh will be given to those who have land under the Grilahakshmi scheme for the construction of houses.
Apart from this, the Congress is also promising Rs 2 lakh farmer loan waiver, 2 lakh jobs, Rs 4000 unemployment allowance, and Rs 500 for gas cylinders, among others, during its campaigns.
