Revanth breathes fire on Sharmila. Eversince the Congress party's thumping victory in Karnataka, the party's high command started concentrating on Telangana. After the Karnataka elections and its results, while BJP slowed down completely unable to overcome the loss, the Congress party is rejuvenated and its confidence levels soared.
The party entrusted the responsibility of planning strategies in Telangana to Karnataka Deputy CM, DK. Shiva Kumar played a key role in the party victory in Karnataka. It is known that DK. Shiva Kumar for a long has been meeting YSRTP president Sharmila, sister of AP CM Jagan Mohan Reddy.
It is known that Sharmila parted ways with her brother and decided to show her mettle in Telangana. However, Sharmila is unable to make inroads due to a lack of infrastructure. Congress is keen to rope Sharmila into the party and ask to canvass for the party in Telangana and more in Andhra Pradesh and it also promised her full support if she takes on Jagan in AP.
While Uttamkumar Reddy and Komati Reddy Venkat Reddy extended their support and said they will welcome Sharmila into the party, Revanth Reddy, TPCC chief however fired on all cylinders. He said he is ok if Sharmila is made APCC chief and then he will meet her cordially. He however added that if she enters TPCC and plans to lead the party in Telangana he will never agree to that. He added that Telangana was formed against Andhra rulers and he will never allow a person from AP to rule or lead the party. He made it clear that till he is there, he will not allow Sharmila to enter Telangana.
