Sharmila's demands and Congress green signal is now becoming the talking point. Now the Muhurat is set for Sharmila's YSRTP to merge into the Congress party. It is known that Sharmila had differences with her brother AP CM Jagan and then launched her own party. Much to the surprise of all, Sharmila instead of taking her brother Jagan headon in Andhra Pradesh decided to concentrate on YSRCP in Telangana and went on Padayatra claiming herself to be Telagana's daughter in law.
Many times she dared to take on the BRS and CM KCR and in the process faced many cases and got arrested also. However, all these acts did not get her the required political mileage or public sympathy. She even manhandled police during the protest over Group 1 paper leakage.
Now reports are coming that Sharmila decided to merge her party in Congress as none of the strong political leaders did not join her party. Under these circumstances, Karnataka Dy CM DK.Shiva Kumar and YSR's soulmate KVP.Ramachandra Rao gave her a fresh lease of life and convinced her to join the party. Sharmila also gave her consent for the same.
In the process, Sharmila placed two important demands. She expressed her desire to contest from Paleru (Now Khammam) constituency and also demanded 10 seats for her supporters. Congress also gave consent for her demands. That's the reason Sharmila wished Congress top leader Rahul Gandhi on his birthday.
