PM Modi attacks KCR's daughter Kavitha. During the last couple of days., BJP top brass has been trying hard to dispel rumors that there is a secret understanding between Telangana CM KCR and his party BRS and that was the reason why CBI and ED are going slow on KCR's daughter Kavitha in the Delhi liquor scam.
The sea change is witnessed after Telangana BJP leaders Eatela Rajender and Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy visited Delhi and met BJP national president JP Nadda. Right after that, JP Nadd during his one-day visit to Telangana accused KCR of large-scale corruption and said that KCR and his family would be sent to jail.
Now, PM Modi speaking at the meeting in Bhopal attacked Telangana CM KCR and his daughter Kavitha. He said "If you want the welfare of the Karunanidhi family, then vote for DMK. If you want the welfare of K Chandrashekhar Rao's daughter, then vote for BRS. But if you people want the welfare of your sons and daughters and grandchildren, then vote for BJP".
It is known that BJP's silence over Kavitha's arrest left many disgruntled BRS leaders to join the Congress party. Had BJP been clear earlier, those leaders would have joined BJP boosting its prospects in the coming elections.
