Telangana CM KCR is planning to expand his party BRS across the country and he chose Maharashtra as the first state as there are many farmers in the region. A couple of days back he visited the famous Pandharpur temple and had the darshan of Lord Vitthal and Goddess Rukmini.
KCR went to Maharashtra along with his 600 convoys of cars with much fanfare. Now his visit to the temple is landing in controversy. Maharastra leaders are alleging that KCR had mutton and other nonveg items along with his supporters before visiting the temple. The videos of KCR having mutton are going viral on Marathi channels.
NCP MLA Amol Mitkari posted the videos and came up with the following comment. “They are eating royal mutton chicken and are now going to desecrate the holy pilgrimage city of Pandharpur. They should think ten thousand times before coming there and playing with the sentiments of the people,”
He questioned the real intentions of KCR in his Pandharpur visit. He said "What is the intention of taking a convoy of 600 vehicles to Maharashtra? He is spending thousands of crores for his propaganda. What is the source of those funds?" He questioned "Why has Kavitha not been arrested while Delhi deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia is behind bars after a big fuss over her imminent arrest in the Delhi liquor scam?
