Popular folk singer Sai Chand passed away. People of Telangana woke up to a huge shock when they came to know that a popular folk singer, State Warehouse Corporation Chairman passed away due to cardiac arrest. Sai Chand was aged 39. Sai Chand fell ill when he along with his family members visited a farmhouse in Karukonda, Bijinepalli Mandal of Nagarkurnool district.
The family members immediately shifted him to the nearby hospital. But with his health deteriorating, his family members shifted him to Hyderabad Hospital. Sai Chand was admitted to Care Hospital in Gachibowli, Hyderabad. Doctors tried their best to save him but he breathed his last.
Top politicians condoled his death and expressed their condolences to the bereaved family members. CM KCR said “Telangana society lost a great singer and artiste. He ignited the Telangana spirit during the movement and thereafter, spread the message of development through his songs. It is unfortunate that we lost him, especially when he is rising to new heights,”
