Sonia made KCR the CM. Congress is breathing fire in Telangana and its leaders are in aggressive mode ever since the party swept the assembly elections in Karnataka defeating the all-powerful BJP. Its leaders are now gunning for Telangana CM KCR and the ruling BRS in the state.
A war of words is flying between BRS party and the Congress party leaders. Ahead of the Rahul Gandhi meeting at Khammam, Congress leaders attacked CM KCR. Former Union Minister and senior Congress leader Porika Balaram Naik came down heavily on Minister KTR for criticizing and making fun of the Congress party.
He said "KTR needs to understand that his father K Chandrasekhar Rao got a chance to become the chief minister due to Sonia Gandhi who gave Telangana, sacrificing the party’s future in Andhra Pradesh. Hence, the BRS has no right to criticize the Congress,”
Attacking KCR he said" KCR compromised to give away seven mandals of Khammam district including the low-cost Lower Sileru Hydro Power Project to Andhra Pradesh,” He even criticized Mahabubabag MP Maloth Kavitha and reminded her “Kavitha, her father D S Redya Naik, myself and others have to thank the Congress for including the Lambadas in the scheduled tribes (STs). We became lawmakers only because of the Congress,”
