Rahul Gandhi breathes fire at Khammam. Congress organised a huge public meeting in Khammam and Rahul Gandhi addressing people breathed fire against his opponents. He targeted Telangana CM KCR, the ruling BRS and PM Modi and BJP. At the rally, Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy joined the party.
Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy after joining the party and attacked the CM KCR and BRS. He said "KCR did not fulfill the promise of farmer loan waiver. Congress party will come to power in Telangana," He said "Congress party has increased significantly across the country with the help of Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Yatra,"
He added "All the poll promises made by KCR were not implemented. All the problems will be resolved once the Congress comes to power in Telangana and at the center." CLP Bhatti Vikramarka speaking felicitated Rahul Gandhi at the meeting.
Rahul Gandhi then launched a frontal attack on CM KCR and BRS. He said, "BRS, is a 'BJP Rishtedar Samithi'." He added "BRS is like BJP Rishtedar Samiti. KCR thinks he is a king and Telangana is his kingdom." He said "Congress recently fought the assembly election in Karnataka against "a corrupt and anti-poor government and we defeated them with the support of the poor, OBCs, minorities and oppressed in the state".
He added "Something similar is going to happen in Telangana. On one side there would be rich and powerful of the state and on the other side, there would be poor, tribals, minorities, farmers and small shopkeepers with us. What has happened in Karnataka, would be repeated in Telangana,"
Rahul Gandhi attacked BJP and BRS and added "But the BJP does not exist at all in Telangana. Their all four tyres have got punctured. Now it is a fight between Congress and B-Team of BJP," and said "We told other opposition leaders if TRS attends the meeting, Congress will not attend it, Congress can't share stage with TRS."
