Rahul Gandhi is extremely happy with the tremendous success of his public meeting in Khammam yesterday in Telangana. With the entry of BRS leader Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy at a huge rally, Rahul Gandhi is delighted. He is confident that the energy levels seen in the Congress cadre and leaders will propel the party to power in Telangana in the coming elections dislodging the CM KCR and the ruling BRS party.
In the meantime, Rahul Gandhi also decided to concentrate on the other Telugu state Andhra Pradesh. Rahul Gandhi visited Gannavaram airport by road after his meeting at Khammam and held discussions with APCC chief Gidugu Rudraraj, KVP Ramachandra Rao, JD Seelam, Sunkara Padmasree, Naraharashetti Narasimha Rao, Kolanukonda Shivaji, Meda Suresh, and others.
During the meeting, he enquired about the conditions and political situation in the state and said Priyanka Gandhi will soon visit the state. He said It is sad that AP is without a capital city and added that Congress is committed to Amaravathi as the state capital. He said Congress if it comes to power at the center will accord special status to Andhra Pradesh.
He added that he is well aware of the situation in Andhra Pradesh and sources share that Rahul Gandhi will participate in a huge public meeting in Visakhapatnam. He also inquired about the corruption cases on CM Jagan.
