Surprise: KTR praises Modi. Telangana CM KCR and the ruling BRS government till recently have been firing on all cylinders attacking PM Modi and the Union Government headed by BJP at the slightest opportunity. Ever since KCR decided to turn his party into a national party. he intensified his attacks on PM Modi.
Taking a cue from KCR, other BRS leaders like Harish Rao, Kavitha and KTR started attacking PM Modi. In the midst of all this, KTR surprised all by showering praises on PM Modi. It is known that even during his Delhi visit, though he met various Union Ministers, KTR attacked Union Government for ignoring Telangana.
Now speaking at an event after unveiling the annual report of the Municipal Administration and Urban Development (MA&UD) portfolio, KTR praising Modi said "While the country is predominantly rural-oriented, the urban areas are economic engines. We have been borrowing to improve basic civic infrastructure. It is investing for the future. On the suggestion of the Prime Minister, we mobilized funds through municipal bonds on the lines of Ahmedabad,"
Till recently KTR has been attacking PM Modi and making fun of the Gujarat model. Rumors have been spreading thick and fast that BJP and BRS entered into a secret agreement ahead of the 2024 elections.
