People are wondering whether Revanth Reddy is under Balakrishna's influence. Balarishna is known to speak in a confusing manner all the time and Revanth who is known for his clear cut ideas experienced a brainfade moment. Congress supporters and cadre are shellshocked by the comments made by Revanth Reddy, TPCC chief. Till now, Revanth Reddy put everything at stake to turn Congress into a viable alternative in Telangana. His padayatras and rasta roko against the government got a good response from all sections of people in the state of Telangana.
But much to the surprise of all, Revanth Reddy made shocking comments saying farmers do not need an uninterrupted power supply in Telangana. This turned out to be the golden opportunity to the ruling BRS and CM Telangana. BRS is launching protests against the Congress party and Revanth Reddy branding the party as the anti-poor.
Revanth's slip of the tongue created huge damage for the party. In the midst of all this, Komati Reddy Rajagopal Reddy, Congress MP came down heavily on Revanth Reddy. He said he opposes Revanth Reddy's comments and the Congress party does not support his views. He said the party will include 24 hours power supply to farmers in the manifesto.
He pointed out how farmers turned against Chandra Babu when cops opened fire against the protesting farmers under his regime and how YSR gained by announcing free power to farmers. He said Revanth Reddy at the NRI conclave in TANA started talking in a confused manner and was unlike him. It seems he was under the influence of Balakrishna who is known for such talks.
