Harish Rao, KTR asks people to give a shock to Cong

TPCC chief Revanth Reddy landed in a huge controversy when during his interaction with the NRIs said farmers don't require continuous free power supply and three hours for three acres is more than enough. This put the Congress party in trouble.

Congress which is currently in an energetic mood after its victory in the neighboring Karnataka and is confident of defeating BRS and CM KCR in Telangana is now on the back foot. It is running for cover unable to undo the damage of Revanth Reddy's comments.

In the meantime, BRS pounced on Congress and almost all the leaders started protesting against the Congres party branding it anti-poor. Harish Rao and KTR asked people to give a shock to Congress in the next elections. KTR posted "In the wake of the Congress Party President's announcement that there is no need for free electricity in the state, Bharat Rashtra Samithi has called for protests across Telangana today and tomorrow against the Congress party's anti-agriculturalist ideology. Once again the Congress party revealed its anti-farmer policies. This should be strongly opposed by the Telangana peasantry and the people of Telangana"

Harish Rao said "The leaders of the Congress party, who have never thought for the welfare of the farmers, are saying that they will not get the welfare and development fruits of the farmers under KCR's rule if they come to power. The man who raised a gun against the Telangana movement, today is spewing venom at a green Telangana. The party has changed but the man has not changed.. the mind has not melted. Farmers should give due punishment to the Congress party and its president who are acting as if they are taking revenge on the society of Telangana with satanism. The Congress leaders said farmers do not need electricity for the farmers should be given an electric shock in the next election."
