Revanth Reddy gets an electric shock

Revanth Reddy gets an electric shock. TPCC chief Revanth Reddy is known for his aggressive nature and firebrand politics. When the entire opposition was in the sleep mode in Telangana after KCR came to power, it was Revanth Reddy who singlehandedly took the fight into KCR's bastion. However, KCR had the upper hand when he caught Revanth Reddy red-handed and sent him packing to jail in the note for vote scam.

Later, with TDP becoming a nonentity, he joined Congress and started reviving its fortunes. Congress is now confident that it can defeat KCR and dislodge BRS from power. Revanth Reddy is galvanizing the party by indulging in various protest marches and interacting with the NRIs.

But one of his interactions with NRI landed him in trouble. When he was faced with the question on the free power supply to farmers, Revanth Reddy said farmers do not need 24-hour free power supply and added that for three acres three hours power supply is enough. He said 24/7 power supply to framers is misused by the CM KCR and the ruling BRS government to get commissions from the Electricity Board. This came as a shocker to the Congress party and now they are running for cover.

In the meantime, BRS party and KTR pounced on Revanth Reddy's comments and KTR asked farmers to protest against Revanth Reddy's comments by burning his effigies throughout the state.
