Congress free power patent, will KCR resign? Sparks are flying between the ruling BRS and Congress over the free power to farmers. BRS leaders have been protesting against TPCC chief Revanth Reddy for his comments that farmers do not need free power supply 24/7. No amount of clarification from the Congress leaders undid the damage made by Revanth Reddy's comments.
Revanth Reddy came up with powerful comments blasting KCR and his family members. He posted "Even if Kalvakuntla siblings try to target Congress on 'three hours power' they will not come to power for the third time". Revanth said, "Congress will come. Congress will provide 24-hour quality free electricity to farmers." He added the ‘Bye Bye KCR’ hashtag.
In the meantime, Congress came up with a new argument saying it holds the patent for free power to farmers. He pointed out that former CM YSR introduced a free power supply and added “Since this is yielding political benefits to Congress, the BRS is worried and it is carrying out false propaganda,”
Congress challenged KCR to come to any substation to prove that they are giving 24-hour free power supply. Congress said “Let KTr come to any sub-station and prove that the government is providing power for 24 hours, I will resign there itself, and if he fails to prove he should resign,”
