Seethakka reacts to CM controversy. The other day TPCC chief Revanth Reddy during his interaction with NRIs in TANA in USA answered many questions pertaining to the Congress party in Telangana. It is known that already his comments on free power distribution to the farmers created a huge controversy.
His other comment also ruffled the feathers of all the CM aspirants in the Congress party. When asked why the Congress party do not make a BC, SC or ST as the CM of Telangana, he said Congress made SC, BC, and ST CMs in other states and if Congress thinks, it can make Seethakka as the Telangana CM.
Many Congress leaders from the state took a strong exception saying Revanth is not qualified to make any statement on the CM candidate. They said only Congress High Command involving Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi will decide on the CM candidate after the completion of the elections.
In the midst of all this, Seethakka whose name cropped up during the discussion reacted to the whole issue. She said, "There is no need to misunderstand Revanth's comments as she was present when he made the statement, and he would have said the same about any other individual in her place." She said Revanth is only stressing the point that Congress is open to making any candidate the CM even if he or she has no political background and does not hail from the upper strata.
