Congress party has taken a strong exception and its leaders demanded unconditional apology from KTR to Rahul Gandhi. Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka said "Are agricultural fields where Rahul Gandhi joined the labor class looking like pubs to Rao?" He added "The language used by him mirrors his mental state. After the BRS came to power, Hyderabad has become the nerve centre for the liquor and drugs mafia"
He questioned "How can Rao, who goes to meet Amit Shah for ‘settlements’, understand the integrity of Rahul Gandhi," Revanth Reddy also lashed out at KTR questioning what he knows about farming. He said ' KTR is an inspiration for everyone as he cleaned bathrooms in the US. Rahul Gandhi could have had everything but for the people of the country he sacrificed everything"
He said KTR had no right to question Rahul Gandhi who along with Sonia Gandhi gave the state of Telangana. He said KTR only knows bottles and beds and nothing about farmers.
