TPCC chief Revanth Reddy has been opposing YSRCP chief Sharmila's presence in Telangana. Sharmila, daughter of YSR and sister of AP CM Jagan, after differences with her brother decided to concentrate on Telangana.
She started attacking CM KCR and the ruling BRS party. Revanth Reddy chief of Congress for a long has been adopting an aggressive stand against KCR and the BRS government. When he was in TDP, due to his aggressive stand, KCR targeted him and sent him to Chanchalguda jail in a note for a vote scam.
When the reports of Sharmila's entry into Congress came, Revanth Reddy though welcomed her into the party and opposed her presence in Telangana. He said the party has no objection if she enters the party and concentrates in AP politics but will not allow her to do politics in Telangana as she has her leaning in Andhra Pradesh.
In the midst of all this, surprisingly Revanth Reddy and Sharmila's views converged on KCR. Revanth Reddy criticising KCR dared KCR to contest from Gadwal. He said Congress is strong in Gadwal and if KCR had guts, he should contest from Gadwal and also asked KCR not to change any of the sitting MLAs.
Even Sharmila also dared KCR to do the same. She asked KCR to contest from Gadwal and added that KCR is damn scared and said if KCR is confident of victory, he should contest from Gadwal and shouldn't change his party candidates in the coming elections.
