Speaking to scribes, he said "Neither the CM nor the municipal minister is taking sufficient measures to help the people. It looks as if KTR has forgotten his duty towards people while busy with his birthday celebrations,"
He added "Even after the weather department announced an alert, the government is not taking any precautionary measures. People are bearing the brunt of traffic troubles and are getting stuck on roads for hours."
He appealed to people to be cautious during rains. He said "People should be careful around old buildings and walls and avoid sending children out. The government has paid scant regard to providing amenities to people. I appeal to the Congress cadre to be with the people and extend help to them."
It is known that earlier Revanth Reddy moved against GHMC to Telangana High Court complaining that the HMDA and Hyderabad Growth Corridor Ltd were not providing information to his RTI application seeking details on the award of the Outer Ring Road toll on a 30-year contract to IRB Infrastructure Developers Ltd.
