Minister Koppula Eshwar gets High Court shock. Minister for Welfare, Koppula Eshwar got a huge shock when the Telangana High Court dismissed his interim petition. It is known that candidate Lakshmi Kumar approached the High Court in 2018 after he lost the elections narrowly by a margin of 441 votes.

Though he went for recounting, Election Officials declared Koppla Eshwar as the winner. Following this Lakshman approached High Court alleging irregularities and requested the court to declare Koppula's election invalid and that he should be declared as the MLA.

Koppula Eshwar filed an interim petition seeking the court to dismiss the petition. however, the High Court shocked Eshwar by dismissing the interim petition.

Of late BRS leaders are getting shocks from the High Court and they are worried about how the final verdict in this case will be. Some time back Pointing to different announcements on voting by the poll officers and RTI information, Laxman had approached the High Court which appointed the advocate commission.

Following this The commission asked Eshwar why he had waited for two years before filing a counter to the election petition. When the minister said that there is no illegalities in counting the votes , Laxman’s counsel asked why the minister had not filed an interim application requesting the court to not issue orders for recounting. He asked why Eshwar had approached the Supreme Court and asked it to dismiss the election petition against him.
