KCR accused of ignoring Telangana. Telangana CM KCR today flew to Maharashtra to visit Kolhapur and then visit Wategaon in Sangli, the birthplace of Marathi poet and social reformer Annabhau Sathe. He was born on 1 Aug 1920. KCR was accorded grand welcome with the slogans 'abi ki baar, kisan sarkar' and he left to Mahalakshmi Mata Ambabai temple from the airport.

In the meantime, BJP attacked KCR for ignoring Telangana which was rain hit and heading to Maharashtra. Raghunandan Rao, BJP MP said that he hoped that KCR would visit the affected areas "But instead, he flew to Maharashtra to expand his family activities to promote one more of his kin as BRS leader in that state. Our hope was that after Monday’s cabinet meeting, the Chief Minister would embark on a tour of flood-ravaged areas but he is only interested in his party activities and not about suffering people of the state,"

He said "We hope the Chief Minister will ask his party legislators to donate their one month’s salary and we are ready to give our cheques for flood relief too," He added ""The government announced that it will release Rs 500 crore for flood relief but it did not make it clear whether farmers whose lands and crops were submerged in the latest rain spell, would be rescued,"
