KCR wins, Governor approves RTC merger

KCR wins, Governor approves RTC merger. It is known that Telagnana CM KCR and the state Governor Tamilisai have been at loggerheads for quite some time. This resulted in the government passing many bills and the governor keeping it pending. Following this KCR government also approached the court against the governor. This ensured in the Governor passed many major bills.

Now a similar scene was witnessed a couple of days back. Telangana CM KCR and his government decided to merge the RTC into the government. While all the employees expressed their happiness, even though the government passed the bill, Governor Tamilisai kept it pending seeking some or other clarification.

This resulted in angry reactions from the various RTC unions and employees and they went on a flash strike yesterday which resulted in huge problems for the passengers. RTC unions even decided to march towards the Raj Bhawan in Hyderabad which forced the Governor to hold a virtual conference.

Today, finally in a victory for CM KCR and the ruling BRS government, Governor Tamilisai passed the RTC merger bill. Approving the introduction of the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (Absorption of Employees into Government Service) Bill 2023 in the Telangana State Legislative Assembly Governor came up with certain recommendations to the State Government. There are ten recommendations to the government and it has to be seen how CM KCR will address them.
