Gaddar final rites: Talasani attacks Kishan and Revanth. Revolutionary balladeer Gaddar passed away yesterday leaving everyone in tears. The entire political spectrum condoled the death of Gaddar and mourned his death. His final rites started at LB. Stadium and his body will be cremated at family-run Mahaboodhi Vidyalaya, Bhoodevinagar at Alwal after passing through Gunpark, Ambedkar Statue, via Tank Bund.
Many expected the procession to be apolitical but Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav made shocking comments on BJP chief Kishan Reddy and TPCC chief Revanth Reddy. He asked Kishan Reddy not to do politics over Gaddar's dead body and made clear that the Telangana government is organizing the final procession of Gaddar with full state honors.
He even took on TPCC chief Revanth Reddy saying a few people are claiming that they are doing everything and added that they have arranged everything at Lal Bahadur Stadium. He asked Revanth Reddy to stop these petty politics. Kishan Reddy earlier said Gaddar felt that after the formation of Telangana, the problems of the people remained unsolved and he planned to enter politics but he passed away without realising his dream. He said Gaddar shared his views to enter politics with him on many occasions.
Rumors spread that Revanth Reddy took the initiative to take the Gaddar body to LB. Stadium after the family members planned to shift it directly to their house in Alwal. But they changed their decision as the house was congested. Some artists suggested taking the body to Nizam College Grounds but finally, Congress leaders suggested shifting it to LB.Stadium. Rumors came that the KCR government did not agree to that and Revanth Reddy took the initiative and ensured that LB. Stadium gates are opened for Gaddar.
