CM KCR insecure. Congress leaders Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy and Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka said CM KCR spoke in the assembly in an insecure manner. They said instead of answering the points they raised in the assembly over farmers' issues, waiver of loans to farmers, and other issues, he tried to divert the topic.
Bhatti Vikramarka said "Lands were taken away from 44 families of bonded laborers; the government took over 10,000 acres in Ibrahimpatnam and sold them to MNCs at Rs 5 crore per acre and in Chevella constituency, the government acquired 2,000 acres earmarked for an industrial park and gave the land valued at Rs 1 lakh crore to Amazon. Traditional vocations like fishing were done away with. Cases were filed against media houses for reporting several such instances,"
He added "The government did not bother to dig water distribution channels to medium irrigation projects like Komaram Bheem. The much-hyped Kaleshwaram project has completed only Medigadda, Sunnaram and Sundilla reservoirs and there are no distributary canals. The Indirasagar, and Kanthalapalli projects, which are part of Pranahita Chevella, have been left incomplete as were SLBC, Nakkalagandi and Dindi lift irrigation project. Even Mission Bhagiratha has failed to provide drinking water to people. The supply of power was made possible by the projects constructed during the Congress regime,"
Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy said "KCR merged the RTC into the government only with the fear of losing the next elections. He is doing politics over farmers' loan waiver to come to power in the next elections. It is surprising that KCR is remembering the promises he forgot 9 years back just before the elections. Congress gave Indiramma House during Rajasekhar Reddy's regime but KCR is only taking about 2 BHK houses but not giving to anyone"
