For a while now, there have been reports that Sharmila’s Telangana based outfit YSRTP could be joining in Telangana congress. Well, now the new reports are suggesting that the stage is prepared for the merging of YSRTP in Congress.
Apparently, Sharmila has scheduled a meeting with Sonia Gandhi in Delhi soon.
The meeting is said to be just a formal one and the decision has already been made to merge YSRTP with the Congress party.
There are reports that Sonia could be offering a key position to Sharmila and Telangana Congress and she could well be projected as one of the chief minister candidates in Congress.
Sharmila will now be a key player for Congress in Telangana and she will be fairly compensated for merging her political outfit with the national party. This will be one of the major developments in Telangana ahead of the coming elections.
