BRS chief KCR is officially contesting from two constituencies in the coming election in Telangana and this is a pretty significant significant development in the state politics. While one constituency is Gajwel, the other is Kamareddy.
Congress is confirmed to field its old horse Shabbir Ali from Kamareddy and KCR will have to take on this veteran leader. Shabbir lost in the previous two election but he has a strong voter base here and there is no doubting it.
And on top of that, the latest updates are suggesting that KCR will have to take on Vijayashanthi as well. Apparently, Vijayashanthi is all but confirmed to contest from Kamareddy constituency on the BJP ticket. She is preparing the ground for the same, say reports.
If Vijayashanthi also enters the fray, then things look really challenging for KCR in this constituency. The challenge will be a tough and enduring one. So, will the Kamareddy gamble payoff for KCR? We have to wait and see.
