Telangana will be entering the elections mode in under 2 months from now and the stage is now set for the political parties to make their moves in the build up for the polls.
Now, in a new development, it is understood that JanaSena will be contesting in 32 MLA seats in the coming Telangana elections. The party has already finalized the candidates for these 32 seats, say reports.
Interestingly enough, there is still no trace of JanaSena and TDP contesting together in the Telangana election, despite the parties announcing an alliance in Andhra Pradesh.
Telangana polls are not too far from now and if JanaSena and TDP decide to have a go at it together, then it is time for them to act quick, as any further delay will result in them losing ground to other leading parties.
All the while, there were rumors that JanaSena and TDP could be contesting in 80 seats in Telangana polls, but the latest developments are such that only JanaSena is willing to contest in 32 seats.
However, there is a risk here, if JanaSena loses 32 seats, which is likely, then it could have a negative effect on the party's prospects in the AP elections which closely follow Telangana polls.
