For a while now, there have been several reports pertaining to the degree of Kalvakuntla Kavitha, the daughter of Telangana CM KCR, involvement in the Delhi liquor scam.
The Enforcement Directorate had recently ordered Kavitha to appear in front of them for investigation in the liquor scam case but she refuted the advancements. She didn't attend the investigation.
Now, the latest reports are suggesting that the ED could be arresting Kavitha any minute with the charges of her being involved in the scam.
Reportedly, Kavitha's PA, Ashok has admitted that Rs 45 crores were siphoned off companies in the scam and this could come back to haunt Kavitha now. This has led to reports that she could be getting arresting by the ED any minute now.
If Kavitha is indeed arrested, this will be a pretty major development in the Telangana political landscape with the state heading for elections in just a couple of months from now. There will be a big scale revolt from BRS troops if Kavitha is indeed arrested.
