The Telangana elections are under 6 weeks from now and the stakes are particularly high on the same with the leading parties preparing the ground for the election with their aggressive campaigns.
In the pretext of the coming elections in Telangana, the latest developments are suggesting that Congress party has now emerged as a mere camp for rebel candidates from other parties.
First, Mynampally Hanumantha Rao who couldn't secure a ticket for his son Rohith Reddy from BRS rebelled against the party and moved to the Congress party. The congress then gave Hanumantha Rao and his son, Rohith MLA tickets for the coming elections.
Now, KomatiReddy Raja Gopal Reddy who was with the BJP briefly after moving there from Congress party, has now switched back the loyalties and has returned to the Congress party.
KomatiReddy who lost Munugodu by-polls to the ruling party BRS has announced that he is coming back to the Congress party now. This comes after a failed stint with BJP as Raja Gopal wasn't moving closely with BJP after losing from the party ticket in the by-election.
Now, the senior leader says his followers want him to join Congress party and that is why he has decided to return to the party. He says people are seeing Congress as the only competition for BRS in Telangana.
