KCR plays same ‘AP’ card in Telangana elections

Telangana leaders have this infamous habit of taking up Andhra Pradesh’s name whenever they have the need to redirect the electoral trends.

Now, BRS chief and the chief minister of Telangana, KCR himself has used this age old tactic in his election campaign in Telangana.

In his public meeting in Sathupalli, KCR said “When you see double roads, it means that you are in Telangana. And when you see single roads then it means you are in Andhra Pradesh. This is the difference in progress between the two Telugu states.” KCR said.

KCR is evidently playing the Andhra Pradesh card again in Telangana politics and it is about time that he changes the same.

Having a cash flow city like Hyderabad is the only difference between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The real question is what is Telangana outside of Hyderabad and this doesn’t size up much against Andhra Pradesh in that case.

Perhaps it is time for KCR to exclusively talk about his own progress and what he did to Telangana instead of simply calling out Andhra Pradesh.
