In another blow to the pink party, another seniour Bharat Rashtra Samithi leader and former minister, Allola Indrakaran Reddy resigned from his party and joined the Indian National Congress party in Telangana. The official resignation letter was sent out to the party supremo, K Chandrashekar Rao on Wednesday, May 1, 2024.
In a letter, dated May 1, 2024, it is mentioned that he is resigning for the primary membership of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi party.
Indrakaran Reddy, who joined Congress on Wednesday, earlier worked as a forest minister in the BRS governance from 2018 to 2023. Indrakaran Reddy has a strong hold in his constituency, Nirmal, where he won as an MLA, when he was in the BRS party.
