The Election Commission of India has facilitated voting from home for 85+ age PWDs and those affected by COVID-19 in the wake of Parliament elections. In this context, home voting has been provided to a total of 121 members who fall under the 85+ age category and COVID-19 affected people in the Hyderabad Parliament Constituency. Of the total, 121, 112 of them have used the home voting.
Meanwhile in Secunderabad, 385 people have used the home voting facility in Secunderabad Parliament Constituency and 65 people used the facility for using the home voting facility in the Secunderabad Cantonment assembly constituency.
Telangana is going for the polls on May 13, 2024 and the results would be announced on June 4.
