Five persons who were arrested for allegedly circulating the doctored video of Union Home Minister Amit Shah got bail on Friday. The local Nampally court gave bail to the accused with restrictions. The arrested persons were identified as Pendyala Vamshi Krishna, Manne Sathish, Pettam Naveen, Asma Tasleem, and Koya Geetha, all hailing from Hyderabad. All the accused work in the Telangana Pradesh Congress Party social media unit.
Hyderabad Cyber Crime Police, who arrested the accused, produced the accused before the Local Court at Nampally, Hyderabad. The court gave bail with the following conditions.10,000 each with two sureties and the accused persons have to attend before the investigation officer on Monday and Friday till further orders.
