In a bid to increase the state's revenue, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has issued directives for enhanced coordination among all government departments. Emphasising the need to combat corruption and irregularities while cracking down on tax evasion, Reddy has mandated strict measures and urged officials to work towards achieving the annual revenue target.
During a recent meeting attended by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy along with Ministers Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy and Jupalli Krishna Rao, officials from departments such as commercial taxes, stamp registrations, excise, and mining were instructed to devise robust strategies for revenue generation.
