Junior NTR has approached the Telangana High Court seeking relief in a land dispute over a property in Jubilee Hills, currently valued at Rs 24 crore.
He alleged that the previous owner’s kin created fake documents and obtained loans from banks. Banks approached DRT which gave order for taking possession.
The property, a 681-square yard plot on Road No. 75, Jubilee Hills, was purchased by Junior NTR in 2003 for Rs 36 lakh from Sunku Geetha Lakshmi of Jubilee Hills Housing Society. The plot, which now includes a luxurious house built by the actor, has appreciated significantly, with the current market rate at Rs 3.5 lakh per square yard.
Junior NTR stated, "The title documents pledged with the banks and the title documents I have with me were sent to the forensic laboratory, and my documents were confirmed to be genuine. All the bankers are now facing criminal charges."
