One of the principal reasons why Chandrababu Naidu and his TDP camp was humiliated in the 2019 election results is because of the blatant track back on the farmer loan waiver scheme.
Interestingly, the same scheme was promised by Revanth Reddy who led Congress campaign in Telangana and vowed to implement the scheme on the 9th of December itself.
However, the latest communication from the Telangana CMO is that "The state cabinet meeting scheduled to discuss farmer loan waiver, grain procurement, kharif crop planning and many important issues related to farmers today was postponed without permission from the Election Commission."
One thing that Revanth must remember is that he can't lose credibility like how CBN lost by breaking his word on the Runa Mafi program which resulted in TDP getting 23 seats in 2019.
CM Revanth comes across as a much more assertive leader and a man who knows his job. So he should be self aware of what is happening and must work accordingly to avoid untoward developments in the future.
