On May 26, 2024, tragedy struck during an engagement event hosted at Kinara Grand Nagole, Alkapuri X roads. At approximately 3 pm, a group of eight individuals, who were inside the hotel's lift, suffered a sudden and terrifying fall from the 4th floor to the cellular area. The harrowing incident was attributed to the failure of the lift, caused by improper machinery functioning, ultimately resulting in severe bleeding injuries for all eight members.
Responding to the commotion, onlookers sprang into action, breaking open the lift doors and promptly summoning emergency services. The injured were swiftly transported to Kamineni Hospital, LB Nagar, for urgent medical attention.
In light of this alarming event, law enforcement swiftly intervened, initiating a criminal case against Kinara Grand Hotel, Nagole. The investigation into the matter is currently underway.
