The film "CM Pellam," starring the popular actors Ajay and Indraja, is directed by Ramana Reddy and produced by BRK (Bolla Ramakrishna Reddy). The movie is scheduled for release on May 9th. The film unit held a press meet in Hyderabad today to share details about the movie.

Speaking at the event, director Ramana Reddy said, "An MLA eventually becomes a CM. During elections, we see not only the contesting MLA but also their spouse asking for votes. However, after winning, how many of them meet the voters who come to their house with problems? Through this film, I am asking this question. I hope that at least after this movie, it will begin to happen. I believe that if the MLA's wife meets the people who come to their house in large numbers for two or three hours while the MLA is busy, it can bring about a lot of change. It's not about doing something big, but just meeting them can make a difference, and that's what I've shown in this film. I have also depicted the youth in this movie. In the previous press meet, there was a controversy about me saying 'Hyderabad City' in a song. I didn't mean 'Hyderabad Bad.' CM Revanth Reddy has revealed 'Hydra,' and if it's successful, the city won't get flooded during rains. We saw masks during the virus time. Now, in the political system, there's something worse than a virus: abuse. Through this film, I am highlighting that political leaders should not use abusive language in front of the media. The High Court has stayed government orders. In this context, I am going to submit a petition to the High Court and the Governor. I will request a rule to ban political leaders from contesting elections for five years if they use abusive language in the media. Also, there should be a rule that those in power lose their position if they use abusive language. So, this is not a routine film. I am trying to give a message through entertainment."

Ajay said, "Ramana Reddy Garu has been in the US for 25 years. After so long, he came to me with a bound script. These days, we don't see many bound scripts. What convinced me was that the pre-work and post-work were all done with a bound script. The first green flag to do the movie was mine. The content is about women's empowerment and what changes would be good to make politically. I liked all that, and that's why I did the film. Producer Ramakrishna Garu spent as much as was needed. I worked with Indraja Garu after 'Dikkulu Choodaku Ramayya.' It was a pleasure working with Jayasudha Garu, Suman Garu, and Srinivas Garu. I am very happy to be a part of this film. It is releasing on May 9th. It's a good film with a message, and I urge everyone to watch it."

Producer Ramakrishna said, "You know more than us about politics, the current elections, the voting, and the justice and help people are receiving. After meeting Ramana Reddy Garu, he neatly prepared everything with a bounded script, about how it would be if political leaders and their family members come out and serve the people, and how the state would improve to some extent based on experience. Currently, I am not in politics, but my mother is the Sarpanch of our village. The film was made with the intention of doing good for the people, away from politicians who think that using abusive language is great. Ramana Reddy Garu, Ajay Garu, and Indraja Garu worked very hard. I hope that after watching this film, there will be a change in the people."

Actor Srinivas said, "Ramana Reddy Garu has seen an era, took a break, and after stabilizing again, returned to Hyderabad with the intention of giving a good message to society through this film. He has experience in all crafts. Through this film, every frame is a message. While watching this movie, everything feels right. Our film is about the younger generation, the family system, and how the CM's wife can serve the people if she comes out. Ajay Garu and Indraja Garu are big assets to the film. The casting was also done very carefully. There are many great actors in Telugu. Definitely, the Telugu industry is in the first place. But it's terrible that some are importing even small characters. So, everyone, please encourage local actors. I feel lucky to be a part of this film. I am very happy that BRK Garu came forward to invest in this film."
