Right at the start, the makers of 'Adipurush' thank five BJP chief ministers and one NDA CM under the section 'With Your Blessings'. UP CM Yogi Adityanath, MP CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde (who is a BJP ally), Haryana CM Manohar Lal, Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma, and Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami are thanked by the makers of the Prabhas-starrer.
Besides the above leaders, towering BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis from Maharashtra and BJP leader Narottam Mishra from Madhya Pradesh are also thanked.

Director Om Raut called on Yogi Adityanath weeks ahead of the film's release. Such a sort of meet-up is not unknown in the film industry. Probably, the makers felt that the dignitaries must be thanked for giving them appointments on different occasions.
'Adipurush', co-starring Saif Ali Khan and Kriti Sanon, has been trolled for its underwhelming portrayal of Rama and an idiosyncratic portrayal of Ravana.
