Disney Plus Hotstar is all set to bring out a new web series in Hindi and other Indian languages, including Telugu. Titled 'Aakhri Sach', it has Tamannaah Bhatia playing a cop. The actress was recently seen in an extended cameo in Rajinikanth's blockbuster, 'Jailer'.
Taking to social media on Friday, the 'Baahubali' actress also marked her 18-year-long journey as an actress. "From teen dreams to adult realizations. From a damsel in distress and the girl next door to a badass bouncer and now a fearless investigator… What a ride it's been! (sic)," she wrote.
She added that the Hotstar series comes with a gripping narrative. She embraced the cop's role with open arms despite the challenge involved. Directed by Robbie Grewal, the show is based on real incidents. Abhishek Banerjee, Shivin Narang, Danish Iqbal, Nishu Dikshit, Kriti Vij and Sanjeev Chopra will also be seen in it.
Tamannaah has put behind the failure of 'Bholaa Shankar', the biggest disaster in the career of Megastar Chiranjeevi.
