'Mangalavaaram' has been described in a myriad of ways. Some think it is a psychological thriller. Yet others say it is a horror thriller. The makers hint that we can expect the movie to be a horror thriller. Director Ajay Bhupathi of 'RX 100' fame says that it is a unique film in terms of not belonging to any particular genre.
Featuring Payal Rajput as the headliner, the film has locked its release date. It will arrive at the cinemas on November 17 in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi.
Produced by A Creative Works and Mudra Media Works, the film marks the return of the 'Maha Samudram' director. Sritej, Nandita Swetha, Divya Pillai, Ravindra Vijay, Krishna Chaitanya, Ajay Ghosh, Shravan Reddy, and others are doing a variety of roles. Ajaneesh Loknath of Sandalwood has composed the music.
'Mangalavaaram' seems to bank a lot on Payal's image for playing bold roles as much as its story. Her 'RX 100' director is facing a make-or-break moment. If this film doesn't work, he will find it hard to find a new producer for his next film after the colossal failure of 'Maha Samudram' in 2021.
