'Kismath', a youthful comedy entertainer starring Abhinav Gomatam and Naresh Agastya as desperate job-seekers who take to an easy route and find themselves in a bind, has been awarded a clean 'U' certificate by the CBFC. The film, as per Comrade Film Factory and Atheera Productions, is going to hit the screens on February 2.
The film also features Srinivas Avasarala, Vishwa Dev, Riya Suman, Ajay Ghosh, Temper Vamshi, Chammak Chandra and Racha Ravi. Writer-director Srinath Badineni is planning to unveil the film's trailer soon. Its teaser showed Abhinav and Naresh in funny roles. They escape to the city in search of a job and get lured into a Rs 10-lakh fraud. "Days and years are passing by in the calendar, but our 'kismath' has remained unchanged," the character played by the 'Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi' actor says in the teaser. Expect situational and observational comedy, partially inspired by new trends, to be copious in the film.
Produced by Raju, the film's music is by Mark K Robin. Vedaraman Shankaran and Viplav Nyshadam are its cinematographer and editor, respectively.
