'Aa Okkati Adakku' is a healthy comedy without vulgarity, spoofs: Allari Naresh

Actor Allari Naresh's next is a family comedy entertainer titled 'Aa Okkati Adakku'. The film's teaser was released today in Hyderabad.

Speaking on the occasion, Allari Naresh said that 'Aa Okkati Adakku' has nothing to do with his late father's classic by the same name with Rajendra Prasad. "In that film, the male lead was not settled. In this film, he is well-settled. I consciously looked for a healthy comedy sans vulgarity and parody. This film discusses a social problem. Heroine Faria Abdullah is as tall as I am (laughs). It was lovely working with her. She is a very good dancer. I have done more than 50 films. When I was doing back-to-back comedies, people said I was monotonous. I did 'Naandhi' and 'Ugram', among other serious movies. People once again started complaining. It has become so hard to generate comedies in today's sensitive times. 'Aa Okkati Adakku' has no double meaning lines. It won't embarrass the family audience even once," he added.

Writer Abburi Ravi said that Chilaka Productions is making a nice debut for sure. "While writing the script, I was reminded of the kick I experienced while penning 'Kick' (2009). This will be a happy film for you," he added.

Director Malli Ankam said, "This is a neat family entertainer that is going to be as comical as today's teaser." The filmmaker thanked the entire team, including producer Rajiv Chilaka and writer Abburi Ravi.

Producer Rajiv said, "Choosing the title of a classic made by EVV Satyanarayana garu itself was a huge responsibility on us. It has been my dream for 20 years to become a producer. I waited for the right story to come my way because I have always been cautious about where I invest money. I have produced cartoon TV programs targeting kids for two decades. As a feature film producer, I want to make only family-friendly movies that even children will like to watch. Animation is riskier than mainstream films. I entered the film industry with the firm resolve that I have to be here for the long haul."

Editor Chota K Prasad said that 'Allari' is confidently back. "This is the best treat for those who expect a comedy entertainer from Allari Naresh garu. Director Malli is going to go places after this," he added.

The film's music has been done by Gopi Sundar. Vennela Kishore, Jamie Lever, Viva Harsha, Ariyana Glory and others will be seen in the movie.
