Today, the Congress party, which is busy with the election campaign, assured new promises and made some sensational comments. The Congress party announced that it would increase the salaries of Anganwadi and Asha workers after coming to power. It has been said that Rs. 15 thousand per month will be given to the women working in the Anganwadis.
Women working in mini anganwadis will get Rs. 10 thousand, while Asha workers will get Rs. 8,000 per month. They also announced that women working for mid-day meal schemes will get Rs 5,000 per month. It has also promised Rs 3 lakh to women working in Anganwadi in case of retirement or untimely death. The Congress party has also promised to give Rs 2 lakh to women working in mini-angan wadis on retirement or untimely death.
