The ruling YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) in Andhra Pradesh conducted a people's survey named Jagananne Maa Bhavishyathu, with the aim of reaching out to five crore people ahead of next year's elections. The party claims to have received a positive response on the ground and released an interim report stating that over one crore families participated in the survey during the first 15 days. The campaign's objective was to survey 100 households in the state, covering all 1.65 crore families. The party plans to reveal the final results of the mega survey on April 29.
The party leaders invited people to visit any village secretariat and see the response for themselves, and highlighted that the mega survey reflects the public's opinion. The visiting party workers are explaining to the people about a comparison between YSRCP and TDP governments by showing a pamphlet and carrying Praja Maddathu Pusthakam or survey questionnaire for feedback. People are being asked five questions, including whether they trust Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy for their future.
The workers are requesting the public to give a missed call to the party's dedicated mobile number, and as a token of thanks, the caller would receive a voice call of Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy. The party claims that the Jagananne Maa Bhavishyathu campaign is receiving positive feedback on the ground, especially in assembly constituencies that are traditionally considered to be opposition strongholds.
