Two national parties, BJP and Congress held meetings with their friendly parties. While BJP held discussions with 38 parties in Delhi, Congress met more than 26 parties in Bengaluru. Both the national parties decided to finalize alliances ahead of the upcoming elections. Many expected BJP to invite CBN as TDP was their former alliance partner.
But CBN got a huge shock when Modi and Amit Shah decided to ignore him. This is a full circle as during Vajpayee, Advani's time, he used to make moves as the NDA convenor. Many say Chandra Babu himself should be blamed for his current pitiable situation. Analysts say CBN's opportunistic politics are the reason behind Congress and BJP choosing to ignore him.
