All the while, TDP chief Chandrababu used to proudly claim that he had never climbed the steps of a court or a jail. But cut to now, he is currently in remand at Rajahmundry central jail.
Following CBN's arrest, Nara Lokesh said that YS Jagan made a huge mistake by taking on CBN and stated that the YCP chief will have to face the consequences for his action.
But in reality, was Jagan the one who first rubbed CBN on the wrong side or is it the other way around? Let's see.
First, when YSR died, Jagan's family was in distress. Naidu, who claims he is a close friend of YSR, didn't stand by Jagan and comfort him, instead he plotted to see the end of Jagan with political vendetta. When Congress troubled Jagan with CBI cases, Naidu took pleasure but never expressed solidarity with the YS family which was already paining with the passing of YSR.
And before that, TDP first bought up Jagan's name in Paritala Ravi murder case. Jagan wasn't even active in politics then. But CBN wanted to mess with Jagan and he orchestrated a narrative that Jagan is involved in the case and spread a false narrative against the YCP chief. This is the first time Jagan was directly troubled by CBN. This was when Jagan wasn't even 30 years old. Little did CBN know he was messing with a dynamite.
But Jagan showed restrain and stood calm. In 2014 election, Naidu bought together Modi and Pawan Kalyan and won the election. Jagan got 67 MLA seats and was opposition leader. Naidu could've easily carried on with the administration with the 100+ MLA seats his alliance won.
But Naidu being Naidu, he came at Jagan and attracted 23 of his MLAs through illegal means. Jagan was a man of few words and he didn't care about the coup from CBN to pull away 23 of his MLAs when he was in no need of anything as such.
And then came the personal campaign when CBN started to directly attack Jagan with personal remarks like Psycho CM, Psycho Jagan, Narahanatakudu, 420 CM and others.
After all this unwanted hate, Jagan set his focus on Chandrababu for the first time. When Jagan locks a target, there is no escape. The crushing will be painful and it will be an unrelenting blast of attacks. As a result, CBN was sent to jail in skill development case. There are several other cases in the waiting.
CBN messed with Jagan on multiple occasions in the past and not once did the YCP chief cry about it. The one time Jagan gave a trailer of his might to CBN, he ended up crying in the assembly and has now landed in jail.
So unlike Lokesh's comment that Jagan made a mistake by messing with CBN, it is the other way around. CBN has poked a big grizzly bear and he now has to face the destructing effect.
