Rs. 1L crore worth ORR gave away for just Rs. 7,000 cr: Revanth Reddy

TPCC president Revanth Reddy alleged that the ORR Toll Scam is a thousand times bigger than the Delhi liquor scam. “Outer Ring Road worth Rs One Lakh crore is sold away for mere Rs 7 thousand crores. ORR has become the victim of KTR’s thirst for money. Kalvakuntla's family committed a robbery in the matter of ORR tenders. If KCR and KTR are the beneficiaries, Somesh Kumar and Arvind Kumar are the masterminds and protagonists," commented Revanth Reddy.
On Friday, Revanth Reddy addressed the media at Gandhi Bhavan. He inquired as to the Center's response to the ORR toll fraud. Why isn't the investigation being done, he questioned. "I have stated that there should not be a 30-year lease because there will be issues if the regulations are changed in favour of the business that won the tender, calling for tenders without a base price, and the fact that the HMDA master plan expires in 2031. I've also spoken about how the tender process was continued despite the NHAI's assertion that no more bids had been submitted. I understand that the company that won the tender must pay 10% of the total tender amount within 30 days and the balance 90% within 120. In a press conference yesterday, he said BRS MLAs pretended there weren't any such restrictions.
But these clauses involving the payment of money are clearly present in the concession agreement. "The agreement's pages 20, and 21, which are the clear pages, contain the provisions we've indicated. Although I specified 10%, the tendered company must pay 25% within 30 days. Within 120 days, the remaining 75% must be paid. If the regulations change, it should be made clear what those new rules are.” It is up to Arvind and Somesh Kumar to determine whether the concession agreement Revanth Reddy released today is accurate or not.
On April 27, 2023, a Letter of Agreement was completed about the ORR tender. The 30-day period has now passed. IRB organisation must now pay the government 25% of its total revenue, or Rs. 1800 crores. Whether the IRB organisation has paid the money or not is unknown. Revanth urged that the tender for the IRB institution be invalidated for breaking the rules of the bidding process if the payment wasn't made.
Additionally, he urged KTR to answer this matter; if he was engaged in a foreign tour, Arvind Kumar should.
