Speculation increases on KCR's constituency. In the runup to the 2024 elections even as CM KCR is working overnight to ensure that his party BRS will come to power once again and complete a hattrick, speculation is increasing on the constituency he will be contesting from.
Government whip and MLA Gampa Govardhan increased the intensity of these speculations speaking to scribes saying "KCR will consider contesting from Kamareddy, which the BRS represents in the Assembly.If KCR does decide to contest from Kamareddy, I would work like a BRS activist for the party supremo and ensure a resounding victory with a massive majority."
Earlier TPCC chief Revanth Reddy said KCR would be changing his constituency and even dared KCR to contest from his current constituency Gajwel. Gampa Govardhan's comments is triggering speculation on why KCR would change his constituency. They feel that any such decision will affect the prospects of the party by sending the wrong signals.
This is also triggering speculation as to who will contest from Gajwel if KCR in fact shift the constituency. The names of Vonteru Prathap Reddy, chairman of the Forest Development Corporation is doing rounds.
