Mynampally Hanumantha Rao is one of the deep pocketed leaders in the BRS. He is regarded as one of the strongest financiers of BRS and a lot depends on him in Malkajgiri and Medak regions of Andhra Pradesh. He is a firebrand leader in these two key segments.
However, just ahead of the elections, KCR has decided to let go off Mynampally and this has resulted in the senior leader looking at BJP now.
Mynampally is a deep pocketed politician who could have been of great help for the BRS party and certainly helped the KCR-led pad party in retaining power again.
But now that Mynampally is set to join the BJP, things are looking complicated for the BRS party. All the resources that BRS could have otherwise enjoyed will now go to BJP.
But this is a calculated move from KCR as Mynampally was looking to build group politics in BRS. KCR is against the same and he is now ready to let go off the senior leader who appears to be on course to join the BJP.
