Ready to quit politics to fight for Hindu Rashtra: T Raja Singh

T Raja Singh, the incumbent MLA of the Goshamahal Assembly constituency in Hyderabad, today stated that he is ready to give up politics to fight for making India a Hindu Rashtra. "I am a Hindutva-vadi. I won't join any of the secular parties like BRS and Congress come what may. I will remain in the BJP. If not, I will take a break from politics and fight independently to make India a Hindu Rashtra," Raja Singh today said.

He said that he has got the support of many leaders within the BJP. His suspension will be revoked, he hoped. "I have the backing of many leaders," Singh added. For the unversed, the firebrand leader was suspended in August last year from the BJP over a remark against Prophet Muhammad.

The BRS is not going to field any candidate Goshamahal constituency, he said. "The constituency is with the MIM. A candidate finalized by the Owaisi will enter the fray," Singh said.

In the past, Raja Singh allegedly supported armed resistance towards the establishment of a Hindu Rashtra. So far, he has been accused of 18 communal offences.
